Awful experience. I was called to come in at 10am due to a cancelation, when my appointment was at 12. I went straight to the office, where I briefly filled out paperwork and ended up waiting until noon, which was my original appointment time. The dentist told me the front desk staff had not spoken to her before calling me to come in early, and there had been no cancelations. She then assessed my teeth and suggested treatments I know I do not need, including a laser treatment for my gums which would cost $600, a deep cleaning, topical numbing for the deep cleaning, and a medication for my gums. I have always taken excellent care of my teeth, and my previous dentists have all told me that I have great dental health. I came for a general cleaning, and the bill came out to $1115. I walked out of the office after waiting 2 hours to be seen. The office staff was unapologetic when she said "sorry," and even the dentist started coming up with excuses ("it's Saturday so we want to go home early.") Completely unprofessional and moreover very concerning for wanting to over treat and over charge. I left without a cleaning because I decided I could not trust this dentist. In addition, they promised to email me my X-rays, which i never received.

Stay far far away! I have a ton of dental anxiety. First, I showed up at the office and they were extremely behind and didn't get me in for over 45 minutes after my appointment time. I came here purely to get the filling that popped out of my tooth fixed. I even called over the phone to make sure they could fit me in that day. In person, they said the appointment was too late in the day for them to do the filling even though I'd asked ahead of time and claimed they'd called me to reschedule which was untrue. The dentist was not understanding at all when I let her know I had dental anxiety and said it's fine because she wasn't doing a procedure. They weren't communicative with me, wouldn't explain what they were doing, and were completely cold. Then when the actual follow-up filling appointment came, they tried to charge me $885 for the crown (they stated I couldn't do a filling and needed a crown). My insurance max for a crown is a $200 copay. I immediately canceled the follow-up appointment and refuse to go back to bright now dental ever again.

I have been going to western dental all my life and switching to bright now! dental was the best decision I have made. Doctor Mohaveri was very professional and detailed in checking my gums and teeth. if I'm being completely honest the dentists at western dental would just visually check my teeth and try to get me in and out of the chair; here at bright now they took their time; checked each gum line and tooth and when they did the polish and cleaning of my teeth they also took their time; i felt appreciated. i only went in for a check up and cleaning but i felt like a new man when i left; clean shiny teeth and a bright smile; when i got there i was greeted with the front desk women and they were very helpful in explaining the charges and all the information i needed and they even gave me a cute little gift basket; i would most definitely be returning for my 6 month check up; thank you to everyone here at bright now dental fountain valley and continue to keep delivering top tier customer service
